MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- A man was forced to close his Orange Mound tire shop just days after opening it because thieves cleaned out the business.

The owner of the shop in the 1400 block of Airways said they got away with hundreds of brand new tires and equipment essential to running the business.

The owner’s wife said her husband had to give up his dream of owning a business and is now just trying to find a job.

"They took everything. The balancing machine, the compressor, they didn't take those," said Naseem Nasher. "We've lost a lot. We are not able to open again. So, we actually terminated the lease."
