Costco south Reno permit filed by mistake, says city of Reno

A pre-planning permit for a Costco Wholesale store in south Reno was submitted by mistake, according to the city of Reno.

The permit for the construction of a “large retail establishment” at 14450 S. Virginia St., on the corner of South Virginia Street and Geiger Grade Road, was submitted on Oct. 6. The Costco permit’s status has since been updated after it was rejected on Oct. 8, according to city of Reno records.
