Former Penn State quarterback Beau Pribula played in some big games during his time in State College.

But Pribula, the leader of No. 14 Missouri’s offense, is prepping this week to play in his biggest game as a starting QB.

The 5-0 Tigers, coming off a bye week, host No. 8 Alabama on Saturday. The SEC showdown will be televised on ABC at noon (EST).

Pribula, a Central York grad who backed up Drew Allar for two seasons at Penn State, has been a perfect fit in Missouri coach Eli Drinkwitz’s offense.

The Tigers own wins over longtime rival Kansas (42-21) and South Carolina (29-20).

The 4-1 Crimson Tide, a 31-17 loser to Florida State in their season opener, have beaten Wisconsin (38-14), Georgia (24-21) and Vanderbilt (30-14) since.
