RICHMOND, Va. (WWBT) - It’s all smiles at World Foreign Car Service in Richmond as Sam and Maral Haboush are finally home after nine months of renovations following a devastating fire.

“It’s been a journey, but we did it and we’re back,” Sam Haboush said.

A fire raged through the 40-year-old business in late January. The sides of the building were charred, scraps of metal littered the ground, and flames burned through the roof.

Sam Haboush, outside the shop, pointed to areas that were completely destroyed.

“Before, you stand here and see the sky, so yeah they did a good job rebuilding and the city did a good job helping us out,” he said.
