Nicholas Fountain, a long-serving township supervisor in Skippack Township, Montgomery County, has resigned following his arrest on multiple felony charges related to the sexual abuse of a minor.

The Skippack Board of Supervisors unanimously accepted his resignation at their meeting Wednesday night.
