EBENSBURG, Pa. – Cambria County Prison corrections officers could be outfitted with body cameras next year, a new system for tracking food expenses has been implemented and the federal government has initiated the resumption of its contract with the prison to house immigration detainees for the first time since pre-COVID-19 years.
Those were some of the items discussed Wednesday during the Cambria County Prison Board’s monthly meeting for increasing security, monitoring expenses and generating some new revenue as the prison faces cashflow challenges in keeping up with monthly bills. ×
