JOHNSTOWN, Pa. – Police forcibly removed a man from the Johnstown City Council’s public meeting Wednesday after he became irate while claiming a box discovered during the city’s central park renovation project could be a coffin.

Michael Widdersheim, of Johnstown, who identified himself as an associate professor of library and information management for Emporia State University in Kansas, appeared upset from the start of his address to the council Wednesday, said other members of the public present for the routine monthly meeting. ×
