The 2025 WNBA Finals will resume Friday with Game 4 between the Las Vegas Aces and Phoenix Mercury . After another thrilling victory in Game 3, the Aces will have a chance to complete a sweep and win their third championship in the last four years. The only other team in WNBA history to win that many titles in such a span is the now-defunct Houston Comets, who won four in a row from 1997-2000.

The Mercury will need to win to keep their season alive, but will face a serious uphill battle without one of their star players. Satou Sabally, who was averaging a team-high 21.7 points, six rebounds and three assists in the Finals, left Game 3 in the fourth quarter after a nasty collision and has been ruled out for Game 4 due to a concussion.
