The three men accused of stealing almost $1,500 in merchandise from Dick’s Sporting Goods in Butler Township were heard disarming security tags in a fitting room, police said.
Lawrence Edward Anderson III, 20; Dwayne Jamiere Howard, 18; and Darnell Coffer Jr., 18, all of Youngstown, Ohio, were all charged on Tuesday, Oct. 7, with two felony counts of retail theft, felony conspiracy to commit retail theft and misdemeanor corruption of minors following the Oct. 6 incident.
Police said they were called for reports of five people committing retail theft at the store. An employee told police three of the men involved were outside on the side of the building.
