Gartcairn co-boss Ryan McStay says a change in attitude saw his side dump Whitletts Vics 3-1, and stretch their unbeaten league run to nine games.
The Airdrie side were 1-0 down, but Stewart Houston headed Gartcairn level just after the half-hour, and goals from Adam McGowan and Jordan Moore saw the points stay at a stormy MTC Park.
McStay said: “It’s windy at Airdrie at the best of times, even in summer, so that was horrendous to play in, which kind of killed the game.
“In the first half we were against the wind, and Whitletts started well, scored a goal while we were a bit disjoined at the back.
“We kept working hard, got our attitude right, and scored a good goal from a corner, a great delivery from Harry Mitchell and a good back-post header.
