Srinagar, Oct 09: The Government of Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday ordered the transfer and posting of seven IPS (Indian Police Service) officers and fourteen JKPS (Jammu and Kashmir Police Service) officers “in the interest of public administration”.

As per an order issued by Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, In the interest of administration, the following transfers and postings of IPS officers are hereby ordered with immediate effect:

IPS Officers

Mr. Abdul Ghani Mir, IPS (AGMUT:1994), awaiting order of posting, is posted as Commandant General, Home Guards, Civil Defence, SDRF, J&K, relieving Mr. Alok Kumar, IPS, of the additional charge of the post.

Mr. Mohd. Yaseen Kichloo, IPS (AGMUT:2013), SSP CICE Jammu, is transferred and posted as Principal STC Talwara vice Mohd. Arif Rishu.
