On Thursday at 1:56 a.m. the National Weather Service released a frost advisory valid for Friday between 2 a.m. and 9 a.m. for Berks and Bucks counties.

The weather service adds to prepare for, "Temperatures in the low to mid 30s will result in frost formation."

"Frost could harm sensitive outdoor vegetation. Sensitive outdoor plants may be killed if left uncovered," adds the weather service. "Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold."
