SACRAMENTO, Calif. (KTXL) - The Sacramento Kings played their first game of the preseason on Wednesday night, and it's a good thing it is the preseason.
The Kings lost at home to the Toronto Raptors, 130-122. They were down by as many as 25 points in the game.
"You know, out of that whole game you probably got 'Kings identity' maybe two quarters. Quarter and a half, I'll say a quarter and a half," said head coach Doug Christie. "So the consistency of what we expect needs to be at a higher level for a longer period of time."
The Kings committed 19 turnovers, and they allowed the Raptors to shoot 54.1% from 3-point range.
Domantas Sabonis and Zach LaVine got their points, 19 and 16 respectively for a combined 35. With it being the first preseason game, they were pretty much done by halft
