Two North Jersey facilities — the Actors Fund Home in Englewood and the Jewish Home at Rockleigh — have been named among New Jersey’s best nursing homes in Newsweek’s America’s Best Nursing Homes 2026 ranking, developed in partnership with global data firm Statista.

According to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services , more than 15,000 Medicare- and Medicaid-certified nursing homes serve roughly 1.2 million residents across the country. With so many options available, Newsweek’s annual list aims to help families and caregivers identify top-performing facilities in each state.
