At 2:28 a.m. on Thursday, the National Weather Service issued a frost advisory valid from 11 p.m. until Friday 9 a.m. for Essex, Suffolk, Norfolk and Plymouth counties.
The weather service states to prepare for, “Temperatures as low as 34 degrees will result in frost formation.”
“Frost could harm sensitive outdoor vegetation. Sensitive outdoor plants may be killed if left uncovered,” comments the weather service. “Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold.”
