NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - New Orleans investigators say a tip led them to uncover a large-scale narcotics and gun trafficking network operating out of a French Quarter clothing store.

The Orleans Parish District Attorney’s Office seized “Kulture Fashion” on Burgundy Street, where agents say they recovered more than $150,000 in drug proceeds, marijuana, fentanyl and illegal guns.

They say the investigation took months and also led to the seizure of three vehicles.

“The ATF and NOPD were everywhere,” said Teddy Schiro, general manager of FreeWheelin’ Bike Tours. “There were plainclothes officers, they had the whole block blocked off, guns drawn down there.”

Agents arrested three people, including the store’s owner.
