1STAFFORD, VA – The Stafford County Sheriff’s Office reported a string of incidents Tuesday and Wednesday, including a robbery, DUI arrest, and discovery of drugs inside the Rappahannock Regional Jail.
According to the department’s daily incident report, deputies responded to multiple calls across the county beginning Tuesday morning.
At 7:07 p.m., Deputy R.T. Philippsen was called to the Rappahannock Regional Jail after staff found suspected narcotics inside a cell. The drugs were seized as evidence, and the investigation is ongoing.
DUI suspect arrested after pursuit
Earlier in the day, Deputy A.E. Epps responded to Heflin’s Garage on Warrenton Road after a caller reported a suspicious Toyota following them and taking photos. The driver showed signs of intoxication, had
