CADILLAC, MI - An Up North resort that’s often called one of Michigan’s friendliest ski spots, Caberfae Peaks made a big announcement this week detailing plans for an expanded terrain area and a new chairlift.
The additions are slated to be unveiled for the 2027/28 ski season.
Infrastructure work will be needed before the new lift can be installed, the owners said. But once it’s finished, the new Green Mountain Triple Chair and runs will be geared toward beginner skiers and snowboarders.
“We are thrilled to begin this terrain expansion,” said Pete Meyer, general manager of business operations for the family-run resort. “Our skiers and riders will now have a dedicated, lift-served area to build confidence and skills before moving on to larger, more challenging slopes.”
