That’s the premise of CenterStage Technologies , formed by David Boies and Zack Schiller as an offshoot of their film financing and production company Boies Schiller Entertainment. CenterStage plans to launch its first product later this fall: an AI-powered, personalized storytelling platform aimed at children, letting them create “kid-safe stories” in adventures featuring popular characters. The company says it has inked intellectual property deals with PBS and children’s book franchise Pete the Cat — and, according to Schiller, it’s in discussions about IP licensing pacts with a major Hollywood studio and other family-oriented brands.
