Yesterday, after confirmed that Saoirse Ronan will be playing Linda McCartney in Sam Mendes’ upcoming Beatles movies, Aimee Lou Wood reposted the main cast list on her Instagram stories, but deleted it a couple of hours later.

Aimee has been cryptically posting about her casting, but this was the first time she’s shared anything concrete about it. The day before, fans also found a Versace sunglasses ad featuring Aimee and Joseph Quinn (who’s playing George Harrison) and wondered if the ad was a soft launch for her role.

Along with Aimee as Pattie Boyd and Saoirse as Linda McCartney, the lineup supposedly includes Shōgun's Anna Sawai as Yoko Ono and How to Have Sex's Mia McKenna-Bruce as Maureen Starkey.
