Actor Richa Chadha voiced her support for producers amid Karan Johar's remarks on not being able to make another 'Homebound'. The actor shared a long post after a social media user criticised Johar after he opened up on being accountable for profits.

The 'Homebound' producer had earlier stated that he might not be able to make a film like that in the near future since he has to think about profits after entering into a partnership with businessman Adar Poonawalla. Reacting to his statement, an X user wrote, "This pisses me off so much – so many people wanted to watch it, but he barely put it on any proper screens. If the producer can’t sell the country’s academy award entry, with these fantastic reviews, it’s a skill issue (sic)."
