CLINTON — A Clinton man is accused of killing his mother and burning her body in the yard of the residence they shared in the 300 block of Davis Street in Clinton.

Nicholas Yates, 20, is charged with murder. He is accused of killing his mother, Cheryl Yates, and burning her body in a wooden box in the backyard of their home.
