Aberdeen has been named one of the friendliest cities in the UK, according to a new list collated by travel experts.

Condé Nast has namechecked the Granite City in its new list, which lauds the UK's most "charming urban neighbourhoods" that "go the extra mile in making guests feel welcome" - and even better, it was selected by members of the public in the magazine's annual Readers' Choice Awards.

Aberdeen was joined by fellow Scottish cities Glasgow - which scooped the top spot - and Edinburgh in the list - proving that Scottish people really are some of the friendliest not just in the UK, but in the world.
