Agartala, 9 th October 2025 : Leader of Opposition (LoP) Jitendra Chaudhury today condemned the ruling BJP for allegedly attacking the All India Trinamool Congress (AITC) office in Agartala and harassing party leaders at MBB Airport.

Chaudhury, who is also the CPI(M) state committee secretary, described the incident as a “clear sign of autocracy” and “a dark chapter in Tripura’s political history.” He alleged that since 2018, the BJP has repeatedly targeted opposition party offices, often using bulldozers, and claimed such attacks have become a frequent occurrence.
