JEROME COUNTY, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — A dangerous intersection that has seen 46 crashes over the past decade is finally getting a traffic signal, but the timing of construction during harvest season is creating new challenges for local farmers and drivers.

The intersection of highways 93 and 25 in Jerome County has been a persistent safety concern, with six deaths and four suspected serious injuries recorded between 2014 and 2024, according to the Idaho Transportation Department.

Lindsey Brown, whose family owns a farm down the road and drives through the intersection multiple times daily, said the area desperately needs better traffic control.
