Both these things can be true: 1) Kevin Patullo has not done a great job as play caller and 2) Many of the Eagles’ issues on offense are not his fault. I don’t see enough creativity in the play calls and I don’t see the Eagles keeping defenses off balance. The offense can be predictable and, to use Nick Sirianni’s word when he fired Brian Johnson, “stale.” At times, Patullo has gotten the offense into a rhythm and you feel like maybe they’ve turned the corner.
