A northshore campground that sits on 72 acres and is known for hosting motorcycle rallies and the "Redneck Cajun Olympixs" — best beer belly was indeed a category — is hitting the auction block.

Silver Creek Campground in Mount Hermon, in northeast Washington Parish, will be sold to the highest bidder Nov. 20.

Bonnette Auctions said it is an “absolute auction,” which means it will go to the highest bidder regardless of the price.

Spencer Mann, whose Alabama-based JSM Property and Development owns the campground, said he expects bidding to run into the millions.

“It’s a rare asset. The revenue potential is massive,” Mann said.

"We feel the buyer will be a bigger type - Jellystone, KOA," Mann said, referring to two large campground chains.
