High school football has become more controversial than the college or pro game lately.

Several notable events have taken place around the HS gridiron in recent times, with the Kalamazoo-Lakeshore incident involving one player who pancaked another into a broken spine, one of the most viral.

Several wild fights have also been caught on camera, including one where one player got his helmet ripped off during a game and was punched in the face a few seconds later.

One recent incident seems to have required a strong police presence, resulting in officers being accused of pepper-spraying players following a game that took place in Ohio on October 3.
