The answer to the headline’s question is probably: People who are more well-versed in George RR Martin’s novels. But after the dreary sturm und drang of the first two seasons of House of Dragon , the A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms trailer is a nice change of pace.
The Game of Thrones spin-off series is based on the Tales of Dunk and Egg novellas. Peter Claffey stars Ser Duncan the Tall (“Dunk”), the knight referenced in the title, and Dexter Sol Ansell his his squire Aegon Targaryen (“Egg”). They seem to have some great rapport in the trailer, and while there may be some Game of Thrones franchise fatigue, the first season comes in at only six episodes, and it seems light and generally fun.
