(WHTM)-- The Consumer Product Safety Commission announced that nearly 50,000 electric pressure cookers sold at ALDI are being recalled due to burn hazards.

According to the CPSC, 46,660 Ambiano Electric Pressure Cookers are being recalled because the lid can be opened before steam pressure is released, posing a risk of burn injury. The CPSC has received 11 reports of this happening, including eight severe burns.

The products had model numbers 93550 (KY-318B), 96775 (KY-318A), and 98527 (6L-PC). The CPSC said the model number of the recalled pressure cookers is printed on a product label on the bottom of the cooker. • Courtesy of the CPSC • Courtesy of the CPSC • Courtesy of the CPSC • Courtesy of the CPSC • Courtesy of the CPSC • Courtesy of the CPSC
