(WHTM) -- The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announced the recall of more than 150,000 blow torches due to risk of injury or death from fires and burns.
According to CPSC, approximately 175,000 Scripto® Premium Torches have been recalled because they violate requirements of the mandatory safety standard for multipurpose lighters, which pose deadly fire and burn hazards to consumers.

To date, no injuries have been reported in relation to this recall.
CPSC says these recalled torches were sold at Walmart and Home Depot stores nationwide and online at Walmart.com and Homedepot.com from November 2024 through August 2025 for about $15.
