LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – President Donald Trump thanked former Arkansas governor and current ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee on Thursday morning on the social platform X.

The thanks came on the heels of an announcement of an Israel-Hamas peace deal.

“United States Ambassador Mike Huckabee is AMAZING!” the president posted. “He worked so hard, and did so much, to bring about Peace in the Middle East. He has very quickly become a Great Man.”

“Thank you Mike!” the post ended.

Huckabee served as the Governor of Arkansas from 2008 to 2015 and was appointed to the Israeli ambassadorship in 2025. His daughter, Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders, is the current Governor of Arkansas.
