New Delhi : A shared sense of purpose between India and the European Union (EU) could pave the way for mutual prosperity amid US tariff tensions. This was what experts agreed on in a session titled ‘The Free Trade Agreements & tariff wars: The India-Germany Advantage’ held at News9 Global Summit at the iconic MHP Arena in Stuttgart, Germany on Thursday.

India-EU FTA is progressing but there are some sticking points, pointed out Professor Sachin Kumar Sharma, Director General, Research & Information System for Developing Countries. He added that the EU and India should come together for their shared prosperity and that’s the way forward. They should realize the sensitivity of each other.
