Generation Z is going to face a challenge no generation has fought before it: losing their jobs to artificial intelligence (AI).
Corporations are continuing to invest in AI rather than new hires, allowing them to fill skills gaps and reduce staff numbers.
A report by the British Standards Institution (BSI) surveyed more than 850 business leaders across seven countries: the UK, US, France, Germany, Australia, China and Japan.
The survey found that four in 10 (41 per cent) of bosses said AI was allowing them to cut the number of employees.
