Snow is on the way to the UK - and it's "not just Scotland" that will be hit. Flurries of the white stuff are anticipated in England, too, as the wintriness sweeps south from Scotland, north of the border, to parts of our country too.

The projections come from WX Charts, which uses Met Desk's GEFS model, and hint at flurries between October 20 and October 22. The first day - Monday - will see Scotland take the brunt, as the country shivers in 0C.

But by the following days, snow is anticipated across parts of northern England too. Areas at risk include the higher ground between Newcastle and Manchester, while the Pennines could also be struck.
