The AVG Batmobile Tribute is based on a second-generation -Benz CL55 AMG, which had 93,206 miles on the odometer when it was transformed into the car it is today. A Ukrainian shop called Specautotuning and a German shop called AVG Autos then transformed it into the tribute Batmobile, making the car a true product of Europe. The owner of the Mercedes spent around $290,000 to make the car a tribute Batmobile, a number which does not include the cost of the donor Mercedes, , which is hosting the auction.
