Next year’s 197th Philadelphia Flower Show will dig into gardening’s roots with a look at the cultures, traditions, and stories that make gardening such a traditional core of the American fabric.

“Rooted: Origins of American Gardening” will be the official theme of the 2026 show, which opens next Feb. 28 and runs for nine days through March 8, over 10 acres inside the Pennsylvania Convention Center.

The show is America’s biggest and the world’s longest-running indoor flower show, dating to 1829. It’s twice won the International Festivals and Events Association’s award for best event worldwide and typically draws some 250,000 visitors each year.
