GREENSBORO, N.C. (WGHP) — The Greatest Homecoming on Earth is coming up, and North Carolina A&T State University is expecting tens of thousands of visitors in Greensboro for its homecoming events.

University police enhanced their safety plan this year after reviewing past plans for past homecomings, and they’ve been preparing for months to make sure this year’s GHOE remains not only the “greatest” but also the “safest."

"I'm mostly looking forward to like getting to experience it, seeing it ... online and stuff, seeing what it's like actually about,” said Christian Chambers, an NC A&T State University freshman.

Many NC A&T State University students look forward to the buzz of activity on campus that will come with GHOE.
