LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — After being released from prison a week ago, the man connected with the stabbing death of a Kentucky child has been rearrested in Florida.
Ronald Exantus, the man who was found not guilty by reason of insanity in connection with the death of 6-year-old Logan Tipton in his Versailles home, is now in custody in Florida.
Around 5 p.m. on Thursday, Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier said Exantus was booked into the Marion County Jail after a warrant was issued for failure to register as a convicted felon.
"My office has been working with State Attorney Gladson’s office in Marion County since we were alerted that this dangerous individual, who murdered a child by repeatedly stabbing him in the head, was in Florida," Uthmeier said on X.
