MANITOWOC, Wis. (WFRV) – The man accused of fatally shooting another man in Manitowoc on Sept. 23 appeared in court Wednesday morning for his preliminary hearing.
Kirk Dunn has been charged with first-degree intentional homicide and first-degree recklessly endangering safety, both with the use of a dangerous weapon. His bond remains set at $500,000.
“Mr. Dunn had to have realized that there were other people in the area when those rounds were discharged, whether it be from a handgun or from a rifle. Here, one of the rounds narrowly missed a person, Victim 2, who was sleeping in a nearby building,” said Circuit Court Judge Anthony Lambrecht during the hearing.
Dunn is scheduled to return to court on Wednesday, Oct. 15.
