"I said, Romey, what does Show Me, Romey, mean to you? And she looked at me just so sweetly, and she said, talking to people."

Casey Cox, a mother and founder of the Show Me Romey Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing education, support, and resources to autistic children and their families, is helping families in rural communities who have loved ones diagnosed with autism.

"Help available is just not there, and if it is there, it's an hour away. It's two hours away. The waiting lists are crazy long, and rural communities need extra support," said Casey Cox.

When Casey's daughter, Romey, was diagnosed with autism at four years old, she knew with her daughter in her heart, she wanted to provide support for others.
