A scooter driver was injured after colliding with a motor vehicle in Bridgeport on Thursday afternoon.

Officers responded to East Main and Clarence Street around 3:30 p.m. on Thursday for a report of a motor vehicle vs. scooter crash, according to the Bridgeport Police Department .

Officers located the scooter operator who was transported to Bridgeport Hospital with a leg fracture and other injuries, police said.

According to police, the driver of the motor vehicle remained at the scene and was cooperating with police.
