A 21-year-old Cheyenne man is facing serious charges after allegedly shooting and killing a 19-year-old man in the King Soopers parking lot last month.

Timeline of Events

According to police spokeswoman Alex Farkas, it all started on the evening of Sept. 20, after Mansoor Ali witnessed an altercation in the Walmart parking lot on Dell Range Boulevard between Walmart staff and the victim and his three friends.

"Ali, driving a pickup truck, offered assistance to Walmart staff, which was declined," Farkas said in a news release Thursday afternoon.

Altercation Leads to Fatal Shooting

Ali then reportedly followed the four, who were traveling in a car, out of the parking lot

and onto Dell Range Boulevard and began flashing his lights at them.
