A man reported to the Pinal County Sheriff’s Office that he was robbed and slashed with a knife outside his Stanfield home on Sept. 14.

Spokesperson Sam Salzwedel told InMaricopa that deputies received the call around 7 p.m. from an address on Loma Avenue near Pala Road, a rural farming area 2 miles south of city limits near Murphy and Barnes Roads.

The victim told deputies he was tending to his property when a man in a gray car pulled up and asked for gas money. When he took out his wallet, the driver allegedly robbed him at knifepoint, cutting him and punching him in the face before fleeing.

The suspect was described as a white man about 5 feet, 5 inches tall, thin, clean-shaven, with short hair.

Anyone with information is asked to call PCSO at 520-866-5111.
