MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- The driver of a stolen Nissan and his passengers were arrested after running from officers and nearly causing a head-on collision in Frayser Tuesday night, police say.

Dawayne Infamous Childs, 18, was charged with theft of property, evading arrest, driving without a license, unlawful possession of a weapon, and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

His backseat passenger, Sakeyia Watson, 22, was also charged with theft of property, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, and being a convicted felon in possession of a weapon.

A 17-year-old who reportedly bailed out of the car was also taken into custody.
