LOS ANGELES — The Dodgers on Thursday defeated the Phillies to capture the National League Division Series, and are back in the National League Championship for the seventh time in the last 10 years. We know the Dodgers’ next game will be played on Monday, October 13, but we don’t yet know who they will play or where Game 1 of the NLCS will be played.
In the other NLDS, the Brewers lead the Cubs two games to one, with Game 4 scheduled for Thursday night at Wrigley Field in Chicago. If the Brewers win the NLDS, the Dodgers will begin the NLCS in Milwaukee, but if the Cubs win the NLDS the Dodgers would have home-field advantage in the NLCS.
Major League Baseball earlier Thursday announced the start times for the first two games of the LCS round. Game 1 of the NLCS would start at 5:08 p.m.
