The Oneonta Airport Commission said subconsultants are “progressing on their respective scopes of work” for the runway obstruction clearance project at the Albert S. Nader Regional Airport at its Thursday, Oct. 9 meeting.

For the past few months, residents who live near the airport have attended several Common Council and commission meetings, seeking clarity on a runway obstruction project. Many have cited concerns about clear cutting of trees on their properties in order to eliminate any obstructions.
