EUCLID, Ohio — A heartbroken family is demanding change after their loved one, Maurice Ford, was killed last week — an innocent victim caught in the middle of a high-speed police chase .

Ford, described by those who knew him as a hardworking man, was sitting in his car at the intersection of St. Clair Avenue and Nottingham Road in Cleveland when suspects in a stolen SUV slammed into him. Euclid police say officers attempted life-saving measures, but Ford died at the scene.

On Thursday evening, family and friends gathered outside Euclid Police Headquarters, lining the block and calling for justice.
