Was allegedly assaulted by the rickshaw driver who subsequently ran over his foot in a bid to flee

In the latest incident of road rage, a BEST bus driver was injured after an autorickshaw driver allegedly ran over his foot during an argument near Sai Prasad Hotel, Kherwadi Junction, Bandra East, on Wednesday morning.

Ahmad Aslam Mirza, 38, a resident of Chembur employed as a BEST driver, was on duty operating on route number 255 (Pratikshyanagar-Juhu) on Wednesday, along with conductor Vaibhav Ramesh Kamble. According to Mirza’s complaint, the incident occurred around 9 am near Sai Prasad Hotel. An autorickshaw suddenly turned left in front of the bus, blocking its way.
