MADISON, Wis. -- The Madison Police Department is looking for three people that are accused of attacking two people while wearing masks.
MPD says the attack happened in broad daylight on Wednesday.
Melinda North says she was walking her dog when police were at the scene.
" We were up the street at the corner, and there was six marked Madison PD squad cars and two unmarked, I didn't see anything going on. Three of them were standing outside of the building, and we just kept on walking. I mean, maybe an hour or so earlier, an ambulance had driven by with its lights on," said North.
The masked attackers attacked two people. Officials say one of the attackers shot one of the victims. Both victims are expected to survive.
After the attack, the suspects left the scene.
